Matt Hamlin CEO
Matt Hamlin has been involved with the Tonaquint team since its inception and oversees the fiscal well-being and day-to-day management of the Tonaquint Data Center including operations, engineering, sales, and business development. Matt joined the Tonaquint team from InterLinx, an open access telecommunications company. With InterLinx, Matt served in many roles within their financial and marketing efforts where he was able to assist in bring multiple fiber long haul routes to the southern Utah region for more robust connectivity options for carriers. Matt received a BS from Southern Utah University in Marketing, and an MBA from Oregon State University.
Philip Daley COO
Philip Daley has over 20 years of networking and integration experience and joins the Tonaquint team coming from Weber State University. Philip provides executive leadership and direction for network development, internal infrastructure engineering, and data center operations. During his time at WSU, Philip was instrumental in the re-design and implementation of the core network, including the data center network, which brought needed increases in capacity, redundancy, and security. Philip received his BS in Telecommunications Administration and an MBA from Weber State University.
Rhonda Dahm CFO
Rhonda Dahm has over 25 years of experience in the accounting and business world. She has managed government, corporate, and banking accounts and relationships both in the US and abroad. Rhonda has years of experience with operations, management, human resources, sales, and accounting. She is a lover of the outdoors, camping, fishing, travel, loves to read, but loves her family most of all.
Kolby Traveller CIO
Kolby has been involved with the Traveller companies over 10+ years and is a core component of the Tonaquint Team. From operations support to customer acquisition, Kolby has been involved in the day-to-day operations.
Carl Wilkins CTO
Carl Wilkins’ passion for IT work began many years ago as a young teenager helping support PeachTree accounting software for family members on Windows 3.11 and MS-DOS. Since then his computing “clouds” have only grown! Before joining Tonaquint in 2020, he wore the various “hats” of a systems integrator, administrator, architect, and engineer. He has worked in non-profit, higher education, and the financial service sectors. His most recent experience was managing the systems infrastructure, engineering, and operations team of a large, federally-chartered Credit Union. He has a BS in Computer Science from Utah Valley University. Outside of the office, Carl enjoys taking in the fresh air of the great outdoors of Utah and the occasional trip to the beach, meaning any beach with salt-water, tides, and waves!
Josh Zitting Cloud Operations Manager
Josh is a Systems Engineer with 10 years of enterprise IT experience. He has worked on IT systems in data center environments, large scale software management and deployment, as well as corporate IT management. Josh has an extensive history of systems administration in hardware, virtualized, container, and cloud environments, as well as SMB IT management. He enjoys getting to know our customers and helping them solve their IT issues. In his free time, you’ll find him spending time with his family, as well as camping, and outdoor activities.
Chris Damrow Facilities Technician – STG
Chris has more than 20 years of experience in the automation & controls, SCADA industry, and facility maintenance field. From electrical and mechanical systems, designing and building control systems, to programming SCADA software and wireless networking systems to leading teams in the water, wastewater and energy sectors of public utilities. Chris takes pride in optimization and performance. Here at Tonaquint, Chris keeps our data center running strong by maintaining the power and cooling systems and the control systems accompanying them, as well as the facility as a whole. Chris enjoys his time outdoors hiking the red dirt hills of Utah or on the RZR with his bride (of 21+ years) and they enjoy their time at their cabin in Colorado and snorkeling around one of the beautiful Hawaiian islands. He has one daughter who is chasing her dream of becoming a nurse.
Chris Howard VP SALES
Chris Howard is a Salt Lake native with over 20+ years of proven success in outside sales and business relationship management. Chris joined the Tonaquint team just after inception in April 2009 and has been an integral part of Tonaquint’s growth and success over the years. Chris has served in many roles within the sales department including Sales, Manager, and current role as VP of Sales. Chris is instrumental in creating the demand and business case for Tonaquint to expand it’s Colo services to offer Cloud, IaaS, DRaaS, and BaaS solutions. Serving as a Trusted Advisor, Chris brings great value in helping our customers assess which services best fit their needs and business goals while achieving maximum efficiency and cost savings for our customers. Chris received a BS in Business Management from Westminster College.
Jevin Parady ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Jevin Parady joined the Tonaquint team in 2018 and connects the businesses in the intermountain area with the rest team, through marketing and sales, to build them the perfect solution. Jevin joined the Tonaquint team with years of experience building solutions for customers in the IT industry. In previous positions, Jevin assisted customers with complex infrastructural needs to find a way to monitor and keep tabs on all their equipment. At Tonaquint, he applies those skills to find the best data center solution possible for our customers. Jevin studied Business Information Systems at Utah Valley University.
Zach Howard ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Zach is an Idaho native and joined the Tonaquint Team in October of 2021 with 10 years’ experience owning a business and 18 years’ experience in team building, project coordinating, account management and transaction facilitation. Zach has managed accounts and contracts in nearly every industry including State and Federal; as well as developing multi-tenant commercial building projects. His experience in various fields and industries helps him understand the customers’ needs and challenges from a wider lens than just their IT solutions.
Cole Sampson Account Executive
Cole arrived at Tonaquint after taking a 3-year hiatus of humanitarian endeavors that covered the globe. From India to Africa, Cole’s reputation proceeds him. Unequivocally daring, yet charming, Cole knew he was destined for greatness. Cole’s knowledge began at the rivers of the Gap of Rohan whilst fighting the mighty ogre – Gilgamesh. He decided to chase his dreams of becoming a legendary LARP superstar but alas, the sword of Minas Tirith failed him, and he followed the lowly pursuits of Sales. But through his will and determination Cole persevered to become the mighty Colesiphous of the dunedain! Slayer of the balrogs.
Chuck Davis FACILITIES MANAGER – BOI
Chuck Davis has over 20+ years of telecommunications and operations management. He has experience in a broad scope of cellular work, working knowledge of all heavy operational equipment, and maintenance. He has managed the Boise facility for the past 4 years. Chuck is an avid fisherman, loves to metal detect and be outside.
Michael Lloyd SYSTEMS ENGINEER
Michael started with Tonaquint as a NOC employee in 2018 after graduating from Dixie Technology College the same year. He joined the systems team in the winter of 2021 and has been excitedly learning about the day-to-day of the cloud infrastructure at Tonaquint. He has worked on end user devices and network/Cloud hardware. He is currently working towards his degree in CIT at Utah Tech University. Michael is an avid book, game, and art enthusiast.
Damien English SYSTEMS ENGINEER
Damien graduated Dixie Technology College in spring 2018. He Joined Tonaquint in Fall of 2018 as a NOC employee and joined the systems team in the winter of 2021. He is excited to continue to grow and learn with the Tonaquint team. He has experience in end user devices and network hardware infrastructure. Damien enjoys spending his free time reading, keeping up on the latest pc hardware or playing video games or hanging out with friends.
Matt Holzwarth Lead NETWORK ENGINEER
Matt joins the Tonaquint team from Northeast Wyoming with 20 years of networking, integration, and IT services experience. Over the course of his career, Matt has been instrumental in the design, development, and deployment of IT systems and networks for internet service providers, school districts, and businesses. Matt’s experience brings an in-depth knowledge base for routing, switching, wireless technologies, cloud computing, server systems, and more. Matt’s family is at the heart of everything, and he is a dedicated father and husband.
Jim Waldon SR. NETWORK ENGINEER
Over the last 20 plus years, Jim has worked in the Corporate ISP/ASP field. His duties have included systems security; mail, RADIUS, USENET, DNS, web, and database server administration; general UNIX-based systems administration; Cisco IOS routing, switching, and firewall administration. He has programmed using several high and low-level languages. Jim’s current role with Tonaquint leverages his broad prior experience and level of responsibility for service, server, and network administration, as well as for writing, configuring, and maintaining software.
Kevin Lipsett JR. NETWORK ENGINEER
Kevin has worked in several areas of the telecommunications industry ranging from the individual component and device repair for an end user to network design and engineering for the data center environment. He joined the Tonaquint team in the spring of 2022.
Linda Neighbor CONTROLLER
Linda has been involved with KH Traveller companies for over 25+ years. She handles all AR/AP, office management, Human resources for Tonaquint, and has over 20 years of experience dealing with accounts management. She is a big-time animal lover and has dedicated much of her time to her horses and animals.
Cheri Mangold Director of NOC
Cheri started with Tonaquint as a NOC employee in 2013. As an active member of the Network Operations team, she now manages the day-to-day NOC activities and overall NOC operation. She loves being a mom. Cheri has an eye for detail, and she enjoys decorating and redecorating her house and office.
Tony Hill NOC MANAGER – BOI
Tony has nearly ten years of telecom experience ranging from fiber optic OSP infrastructure maintenance to physical build out and network management. After almost a decade working on outside plant, a change of pace was in order. Tony was hired on as a NOC employee in 2022, where he settled into the NOC management role quickly. He now manages NOC staff as well as plans, organizes and ensures stability of the organization’s infrastructure closely with facilities management and network engineers. Outside of work, you can catch Tony dangling at your local rock-climbing crag, paddling a kayak down Idaho’s many rivers, or digging through crates of records at local record stores.
