History of Tonaquint Data Center

Tonaquint, initially established in 2008 as a colocation data center and cloud services provider in the Utah markets, has grown significantly over the years. Headquartered in St. George, UT, Tonaquint swiftly expanded its operations, becoming one of the prominent data center providers in Utah. Their services now extend beyond Utah, covering the intermountain and southwestern United States from multiple strategically located data centers. In 2020, the company made a significant move by acquiring Fiberpipe Data Centers in Boise, ID, broadening its reach and service offerings. Further strengthening its position, Tonaquint expanded its portfolio in 2023 by acquiring Edge X data centers situated in Oklahoma City, OK. These expansions have solidified Tonaquint’s standing as a leading provider of secure and reliable data center solutions across emerging markets in the United States.

In a significant move within the data center industry, Tonaquint, a leading provider of secure data center solutions, was acquired by DIF Capital Partners in 2022. This acquisition marks a strategic alignment, combining Tonaquint’s established expertise and reputation in delivering reliable data center services with DIF’s vision for growth and investment in the tech infrastructure sector. The acquisition positions Tonaquint for further expansion and innovation in the data center market, leveraging the financial and strategic backing of DIF Capital Partners to continue delivering top-notch services and solutions to its clients across Tonaquint’s digital footprint.
